NORTH DAKOTA

Not what I was expecting for state 30, but gotta get to all of them. I will be running the Fargo Half Marathon on September 25th.

Excited to hopefully be at 31 states by the end of 2021. Obviously that could change, but so far it is looking good.

You know you have seen the shirts, if you follow me on Insta you have seen them on me. Those hilariously funny Sarah Marie Design Studio shirts. I love them, and now I am part of her affiliate program.

She does make more then shirts, I do also own one of the wine glasses. She makes travel mugs, pants, sweatshirts (I own about 5 of those) bracelets and many more things. They are all well made, fun and comfy.

If you want to buy some of her cool things and help me get some 2021 travel cash and save yourself 10% you can use this link https://sarahmariedesignstudio.myshopify.com/?rfsn=4601301.1385b4

I hope you all grab some things, I really do love everything she makes

Times are a changing

“Disclaimer: I received entry to Urban Bourbon Half Marathon to review as part of being a BibRave Pro. Learn more about becoming a BibRave Pro (ambassador), and check out BibRave.com to review find and write race reviews!”

So have all of your races been cancelled like mine?  Well I’ve still got one on the calendar, Urban Bourbon Half Marathon.  For them to still have the race they have had to make a lot of changes so that way everyone can be safe.  I really respect the fact they are trying so hard to keep this going but also make sure everyone will be ok doing it.

First off, it is in a new location, so it will be more of the Suburban Bourbon half, and that is ok.  The new location is in the Parklands, so no running through the city, but I don’t mind running through parks, I bet the views will be lovely.

Also, there is a rolling start, no more all hanging out in a corral together, you can pick a time, or if you had already signed up, they assigned you a time.  You show up then and take off.  While I will miss hanging out with my fellow runners, I understand, standing around with them is not in any ones best interest right now. Also, as part of your swag, you will get a gaiter, so you know, you can cover your face when you are within 6 feet of someone.

There will be no post race bash, again understandable.  There will be some virtual bourbon experiences for those that run the race, so I am excited for that, always cool to learn more about bourbon.

The big thing, is, if we want this race to happen, we need people to sign up.  Louisville has authorized them to run this race, but if they do not reach 1900 paid registrations by September 26th, then they will have to cancel (you will get a refund or you can defer to 2021 if they do cancel) but sign up so this race can go off.  You can use code BOURBONRAVE2020 to save 10%

Also, check out the sweet medal you will get, so sign up

Handful Bra

Disclaimer: I received the Handful Bra to review as part of being a BibRave Pro. Learn more about becoming a BibRave Pro (ambassador), and check out BibRave.com to review, find, and write race reviews!

First off, I will start with this, I am a 34B in bras.  I know this will help with your decision in deciding to try this bra out yourself.

I got the Y back bra from Handful

Y-Back Bra

also, a lovely purple color, my fave. My first thought when I opened the package was how very soft it was. It does come with removable pads, I do leave them in, my personal preference.

My biggest issues with sports bra is that they chafe me horribly right at the band line right below my breasts.  I had one bra rip me so bad I bled.  So I went in with this bra to give it real tests.  I wore it for multiple long runs and multiple long speed work outs, and you know what, no chaffing.  None what so ever.  Yes I did still use my squirrel nut butter with it, but even with that my other bras still cause chaffing.  I am so pleased with this bra, comfy, soft and no chaffing.  I am so happy with it that I plan in buying more and pretty much making it my go to bra for long runs and races.

If you would like to try them out, you can use code BIBRAVE20 for 20% off.
